Brendan Mitchell is a senior from Birmingham, Alabama, majoring in Finance and Economics with a minor in Real Estate at the University of Alabama. He currently serves as President of the Student Real Estate Investment Fund (SREIF), where he oversees fund strategy, investment decisions, and analyst development. Prior to becoming President, he served as Vice President of Research and has been an active member of the fund since January 2024. Brendan has gained diverse real estate and investment experience through multiple internships. Most recently, he interned at Medical Properties Trust (MPT) in Birmingham, Alabama, as an Asset Management and Underwriting Analyst. Prior to MPT, he worked as an Analyst at Alliance Capital. He also interned at Select Strategies Realty as an Investment Acquisitions Analyst, where he focused on evaluating potential investments and supporting acquisition decisions. Brendan plans to pursue a career in real estate investment following graduation.
