Dr. Tidwell serves as the Faculty Advisor to SREIF and was instrumental in the organization's creation.  He currently is an Associate Professor of Finance at UA and the Alabama Association of Realtors Chair of Real Estate.  Dr. Tidwell also is the Director of UA's Real Estate Program.  He has experience in property management, banking, appraisal, and received his PHD from Georgia State University.
